The Committee on Natural Resources moves to amend the bill on page
1, by striking the title of the bill in its entirety and inserting
in lieu thereof the following:
A BILL to amend and reenact §20-2-57 of the Code of West Virginia,
1931, as amended, relating to providing criminal penalties
for
a hunter who fails to render aid to a person the hunter shoots
while hunting; providing reporting requirements; relating to
providing criminal penalties for shooting and wounding or
killing a human being by a person hunting, pursuing, taking or
killing wild animals or wild birds while under the influence
of alcohol, controlled substances or drugs; and permitting
court-ordered restitution
.
